Hi to all,

I will like to put in this forum my history relevant to the Audigy SE sb 0570 audio card :

I will like to receive some real help from someone on the forum that probably solved the same problem.

I put herein attached the correspondance with CREATIVE on this matter just to illustrate all what I did ...

and what Creative Assistance is responding to me !

Thanks

Regards,

Ambro

Dear Ambro,

Thank you for contacting Creative Technical Support Services; we
appreciate the opportunity to assist you.

With regards to your concern, since you are still unable to get the
Creative Audigy to work on Windows 7 operating system, please try to
remove the current driver being installed on your computer under Device
Manager. Then download the updated the driver to have a fresh
installation. To do this, please refer below:

To uninstall Audigy SE

. Go to Control Panel and double click on System. You can also
right-click "Computer" on the Start menu (or on the desktop if it's
shown there) and choose Properties.

Note: A faster way for opening up the System applet is to press the
Windows logo key on your keyboard and then press Pause/Break at the same
time.

2. Click on Device Manager from the left side.
3. Locate the Audigy SE.
4. Right-click on the Audigy SE device then choose Properties.
5. Click on Driver Tab and then click on Uninstall.

To download and install the Creative Sound Blaster audio driver
.04.0090

. Please visit this website at: <a rel="nofollow" href="http://support.creative.com/downloads/download.aspx?nDownloadId=0964" target="_BLANK"]http://support.creative.com/downloads/download.aspx?nDownloadId=0964[/url]
2. Download the file onto your local hard disk.
3. Close all other Windows applications.
4. Double-click the downloaded file.
5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Please retain all the previous correspondence when replying to this

Dear Sir,
please see what I wrote before regarding the driver suggested by you:

>>>>>>>>>> QUOTE <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
dear Sir,
I downloaded the SB24_PCDRV_LB__04_0090.exe driver as instructed by you
but
the audio card does not work at all .
Windows say there is a problem with the driver.
Please note that I have two Audigy SE SB0570 cards in my hands and both
have
the same problem.
The two cards work well under windows XP SP2 but not under windows 7.
Please let me know.
Thanks
Regards
Ambrogio
