Although Microsoft prevents the install of Vista SP, it does work and have no known compatibility issues.
Uninstall the driver, install SP then reinstall the driver.

On my 5. system, center channel / rear channel works fine, as does mic, but front speakers are silent. Clue?
EDIT:
N/M... checked the Balance, and for some reason front LR were both set to 0 while everything else was properly volumed. Increased the levels, and everything is copascetic now.

Does this work for the Soundblaster USB 24-bits external Li've! Mod No. SB0490?
If so, does this fix the screwed sound that happens every second or so in Windows Vista?
Thanks in advance.
I deleted the P7.sys and then Vista SP appeared in Windows Update and I installed it with no problems. However, once I got back into Windows it had activated the Realtek High Definition Audio device built-in to the motherboard, that I previously disabled. So, both sound cards are activated. It even shows P7.sys installed and working.Message Edited by davinp on 04-9-2008 2:38 PMMessage Edited by davinp on 04-9-2008 2:38 PM
