Creative EMU10k1 Audio Processor (WDM) driver?
Well i recently upgraded to windows vista ultimate but my sound card does not seem to be functioning.
on the device manager screen it shows up as "multimedia audio controller" with a yellow exclamation mark and when i look at the properties it says:
"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver."
so when i hit "update drivers" and automatically find drivers it says.
"Windows has determined the driver software for your software is up to date
Creative EMU0k Audio Processor (WDM)""
i looked on the creative website for the drivers but did not seem to find them, and when i looked on a 3rd party site the server was down.
Im not exactly sure what the model number is on this sound card.
Thanks for any help!

That would be a SB Live! series soundcard. It is however rather strange for the inbox drivers not to install. I believe there must be a problem with your system. But you can still use modded drivers as the ones by daniel_k, to try and see if it makes a difference. Creative does not officially support Vista for the SB Live! series.

If you really want to use that card, there is a third-party driver for it for Windows 7 and Vista. Here is the URL to the website to download them:
http://kxproject.com/
It does NOT have EAX or other Creative Labs tech, but the soundcard will work.
Hope this will help you!
