I plugged my Zen into the computer as normal and copied some music across. The charging sign on the USB was not coming up, but I thought nothing of it. I left it to sync overnight, in the morning when I disconnected it the battery was flat. Now when I plug the charger in the battery shows a mains plug on it as if it is fully charged, but the soon as I disconnect it, it turns off as the battery is totally flat. I have tried a battery from another one which I know was working before, the same happens. I remember with my old Zen extra, I connected the charger directly to the battery to give it a bit of life, then it worked fine. Has anyone done that with the Vision M, if so which lead is which on the battery? I hope the charging circuit is not damaged, having a portable MP3 player that only works off the mains defeats the object of portable music.
