E-MU 0404 MacOsX will not work with Logic/Garage Band

Hello,

I have been using logic In MacOs perfectly well until i purchased a E-MU 0404 USB audio interface and startred installing it. Now as Logic displays 'Initializing Core Audio' it quits unexpectedly and dislays this message:

I have delved quite deep and am sure the installation from the E-MU 0404 has overwritten some mac files/drivers rending logic and garageband uselss. Considering Logic and Garageband are pretty big applications I am surprised no driver update fixes this.

My mate has an m-box and its works fine. send 0404 back anyone?
