    hi,

well, you can try out this Daniel K unofficial driver pack for the Soundblaster Live soundcards, or you can try out those Project KX drivers which also works in Windows 7.

    Good luck!

ive already tried the project ks drivers, but it doesnt satify me. both speaker cant make a sound on the same time, you have to switch the rear to front vice versa.

anyway, thanks for your reply! ive really appreciate it! thankss!

    Release Note:
    [...]
There is no sound on Windows 7/Vista in 4.1/5.1 Speakers mode

Disable Advanced EQ or Special FX selecting "No effects" in the EAX tab of Audio Console.

After changing speaker mode there is no sound on Windows 7/Vista

Mute and unmute the main volume control.[...]
And as for the KX driver, yes, you will have to switch to the "rear speakers" in the mixer for your speaker set and using the rear output on the soundcard instead of the front one, because the KX driver is designed like this; I am told the DAC on these Soundblaster Live and Audigy soundcards for the rear speakers is much better in quality than the one for the front and that's the reason why the KX driver creator has decided to switch for the sound quality.

    Hope this helps.

    Good luck!
