    Cool SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCIe / Notebook Support Pack 1.2 (08/14/2015) for Win 10 / 8.1 / 8 / 7 / Vista / XP

This software/driver pack is unofficial, not supported by Creative Labs.
Use it at your own risk.

    Supported audio devices:

    - Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCIe
    - Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Notebook

This setup program will install the following items:

    - Driver for Windows Vista or later 6.10.1.209
    - Driver for Windows XP: 5.10.0.214 WHQL (*)
    - ALchemy 1.45.06
    - Audio Console 3.01.03
    - Entertainment Console 3.01.03
    - Host OpenAL 2.02.86
    - Volume Panel 2.21.17

(*) The files match the WHQL certificate, but unfortunately the target OS is 6.1 (Windows 7), so you'll be prompted with an unsigned driver error.

    Operating systems supported:

    - 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista and XP

    Release notes

    - First release including newer XP driver than Creative's official.

    Re: SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCIe / Notebook Support Pack 1.0 (07/19/2015) for Win 10 / 8.1 / 8 / 7 / Vista / XP

I have a bunch of errors during the installation. As a result, the driver is not installed.
(Windows 10 x64, Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCIe)

    *Update

Ok, just installed manually driver from XFXA_SupportPack_1_0\Drivers\Setup.exe
Seems to be all working now... But I have not installed "Creative Sound Blaster Properties x64 Edition". Can I somehow manually install it?

today I upgrade from win7 64 to win 10 pro. Dirty setup, no fresh one. All working except audio creative, off course. No bass on my XFI audio pcie.
Then find out Daniel_k setup, install it, creative console, volume not working.
But I found the fix, I must installed Daniel_k driver from this pack.
    Then console working.
Huge errors with ct dll or something. On this: Sound Blaster Properties x64 Edition

Daniel_k you save me another time with an creative 24 live pci, working with crystalizer and so on.
You are doing an great work for millions of Creative users.
    Greetings from Romania.

On a 32-bit system - installation runs without problems. On a 64-bit system - trouble with 'Creative Sound Blaster Properties x64 Edition'. I guess the problem in some installation script or so. Daniel_k, can you fix that, please?

I have an SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCIe oem desktop card and just upgraded to Win10Pro 64bit . Course lost my SB function, knew going in. Will this driver get everything back? SB sites says drivers in Sept 2015 but not confident. Would use these if working. But since it's a discontinued card might switch to a Zx? Thanks in advance and thanks daniel_k for the work

    Daniel_K:

You are a truly gifted person. thanks for prolonging the lives of these OLD OLD OLD cards. If you could make the SB Live! first generation work perfectly, my great great grandmother would bake you cookies! :-)

The reason I make such a comment? So many people still want to carry over very very old hardware designed for a different audio stack/op system. Thanks for all you do as your Lenovo tweaked driver allowed me to hit the desktop in Windows 10 full installation with no issues!

I got the current release installed. Shows in device manager. But when trying to run any of the 3 apps, entertainment console, launcher or control panel i get an error "There are no supported audio device available. You need to close the application". Checking the speaker config confirms that my Logitech 5.1 setup is functioning testing all channels. Checking the playback tab in Windows sound setting shows the X-Fi as the speaker default device. Properties of the speaker show X-Fi, but in the SB tab clicking settings states "The audio device supported by this application is not detected." Any suggestions? Thanks.
