I've noticed that the drivers don't quite work as well as they should do for this camera. Tt would be to know i'm not the only one though.
Trying to import from Adobe Photoshop is impossible - all I get is "initialization failed", even though the camera turns itself on (you know, the blue light). And what's worse is the blue light stays on, which means without a restart the camera is unusable by "other applications" (MSN, for example - it says the camera is still in use).
The same thing happens with playing an online game called Counter Strike (I am 20 for the record!) - the camera turns itself on, only to not turn off again when you exit. I believe it is because (somehow) the game access' the microphone for voice, but the camera drivers are having none of it, and again, my laptop needs a restart so that the camera is accessable by other programs.
Anyone else having similar problems with this camera?? More likely the drivers ad the fact when you exit an application that uses the camera it never 'switches off' properly?
Chris.
