Re: Creative Entertainment Console for Gaming Headsets released! (CSL_PCAPP_LB_2_50_93.exe )

I dont know what youre doing at Creative!! I bought the Hs-1000 for bloody 75 euros!!!!  and that is the MOST useless spending of my money since years!

You drive me NUTS with your drivers and software. I have a XFI gamer card and the HS-1000. Probably its impossible for you to make GOOD software like Logitech, which enables users to switch from their speakers to their headphones and visa versa, while RUNNING an game or App.

I just did u FULL autoupdate and now i dont hear anything anymore through my headset. I just wanted to watch a movie while my girl is asleep. You probably laugh at my situation, as you laugh when you make this kind of software.

Im on the edge of being very rude, and if i am than listen to what im saying and dont ignore this kind of anger. YOU are selling products and on the package you DO NOT print the text that your software and drivers are lousy.

I tried to sell my headset by the dutch version of Ebay. You now what: nobody wants it. Why...well...thats obvious isnt it. Tommorrow im going to buy the Logitech G35. I will never...never buy a headset from Creative again.

Move on...

*****TOTAL CRAP *****

We must assume that creative is in the game of trying to cheat people out of their money.

Why can't they make something that is functional?

I bought the HS 1200 headset because it looked good, and was filling my need for a headset that was more userfriendly, being wireless and all.

Apparently it does not work in conjunction with your speakers, unless you go and remove the plug your speakers won't work!!!

How on earth can developers think that this is a handy tool?

I like to have the music on my speakers, when I work, so do other people in the room.

Suppose the phone rings? (skype for instance) ooooooohhh balls,..

have to dive under my desk, or find the installed program of my soundcard, to manually switch on my headset,...

FFFFFFFFck, where is it?, pull the wires,..

too late, I get an IM asking hello? are you there at all??

NO dear Creative, you are carrying the wrong name, it is much easier to get my old headset out,..

and I will be gratefull for a suggestion which wireless headset to buy.

Anybody know of any good wireless headsets going around?

This is really pissing me off.

@ TILK,

Just brought mine back to the shop, fortunately got my money back.

the guy said he was thinking of buying one himself. (don't they always?)

said he had a similar thing, and could not be bothered with pulling the plug when he wanted to use the speakers.

apparently the headset has a soundcard in it, that replaces your soundcard.

wouldn't it have been "creative"to make a cpl of jacks on the transceiver, so you can connecty your speakers anyway?

to end on a positive note, the good thing about this one was that it actually had a working range of about 7 meters indoors, contrary to bluetooth stuff.

well, I will keep my eyes open for a good solution, and wish all you readers a good day.

The sound card and the headset are two independent audio devices. It is not possible for them to communicate with each other. Note that the headset is not a headphone that is plugged into the sound card. The headset is in fact another sound card.

I don't see why Creative is at fault here.

Re: Creative Entertainment Console for Gaming Headsets released! (CSL_PCAPP_LB_2_50_93.exe )

why are they at fault here?

well,..

no.1- on the box it says wireless headset, not wireless soundcard with headset.

no.2- if you create a soundcard with a headset, it would be kind of intelligent to make at least a speaker-connection on it, who on earth wants to switch from one soundcard to another like 40 times a day??

no.3- apparently they do not come up with any solution like a simple desktop-gadget with a switch-button, so the consumer could easily choose, between the two soundcards,...

I keep saying: trying to trick people out of their cash, by misleading packaging!

no comprehension of the needs of todays computer-users,

I repeat, I felt cheated, still have no good headset,.. doesn't  anybody have an idea for a good working wireless headset?

I will not, repeat NOT buy a creative product again!!!
