I bought HS-1200 headphones and i cant use volume buttons on right side of headset. I installed and uninstalled drivers few times, downloading drivers from creative.com site and it still dont work. I even try dont to install anything but it wasnt help. Im fed up with this problem... Buttons for turning on headset and for starting/ending call work with and without drivers. I dont know where is the problem. I try to install drivers for my sound card (realtek) and it wasnt help too. When im looking in Creative console it seems like the program use my headphones like speakers. I dont have headphones options i saw in FAQ. I want to show you screenshot http://img693.imageshack.us/img693/3676/problem.png I guess that i should have a sign from blue circle instead of symbol from red circle. I selecting my earphones and its still dont change. And i dont know what about sign from green circle. I dont have it - maybe it will solve the problem? I have Win XP Professional SP3. Please help me with this... Sorry for my low english
Has anyone responded to this? I am having the same problem. In fact, oddly, the volume buttons worked initially. But as it stands now, the only way I can adjust the headset volume is to use the Creative Mixer. Headset buttons do nothing.
Hmm... I luckly solved this problem. My headset after about 2 months broke down. It won't play or record anything. It charged for ages and never finish. I send it on guaranty back and get new one. Before i had Win XP and buttons won't work. Before i get new headset i update to Win 7. After pluging them in and install CD all works properly. Maybe they are not compatible with XP... >.<
