Just upgraded my PC from Vista to Windows 7 Home Premium, and am very pleased to find that the new Windows Media Player 11 works very well with my Zen 32GB. One of the new improvements in WMP 11 is that it now recognizes AAC (iTunes) files, which is great for me, because my whole library is in AAC. Now, to transfer AAC files to my Zen, all I need to do is drag and drop in WMP 11, instead of using the clunky Zen Media Explorer. Unfortunately, I still encounter the occasional playback error that the Zen gives when trying to play AAC files, but usually if I delete the file and re-transfer it, the error goes away.
