Get WMA formatted books online from library - have to download to Zen Plus V with the Overdrive Media Console (library uses that service). Cannot figure out how to create a playlist with WMP12 - Win 7.
(can create playlists on Zen from 'All Tracks' (using first track of the book - but naming is a hassle ... too much back & forth to choose characters)
Obviously, the tracks for books are saved on Zen - and can access them on WMP12 but can't create playlists -
AND IF I COULD
don't know how to 'write' the playlist back to Zen.

There is a "help" file in WMP should find info in there.

Believe it or not, I did read the "help" file (old 'computer/programming' axiom: when all else fails, read the documentation) but it talked about files (music) in the library .... in this case the music (books for me) are on my Zen - not sure how to get them into WMP's library ... time to search more in "help" file.
(It was a lot easier when the Creative Media Console was used.)

Open the book to play in WMP. In the now playing tab click on the tab on the right choose save as playlist. Now I don't have WMP12 but WMP11 should be pretty similar. Erase the old one from the player & then resync to the player as a playlists. Remember you must still have the rights to play it & sync in order to do anything with the files.

Have tired it and have to remember to delete all old (previously sync'd) playlists - did it w/o deleting and sync took over 20 minutes because WMp12 'sent' all old playlists to my Zen.
Thanks for the help.
