ive seen the 30gb and its an awsome product and i really hate the ipods, i just need the bigger drive. ive read on another forum that the firmware for the 60 is way behind the 30? If so, what is the big difference?

I picked up my replacement M 30g. Sure enough, the guy who was helping me said "Yeah, these are being discontinued.." I told him that is wierd because the Creative reps here, say they are not. So it must be a Best Buy thing or we're not being told the truth. Maybe BB IS discontinuing them and they have a note in their system or something.
Very confusing.
In my opinion, it's too bad Creative doesn't seem fit to make more of a presence with their product. Make more of their products and accessories available at the store level. I truely believe that if they did they could seriously give Ifraud a bigger run for the money.

So I open my new M and lo and behold no wall charger!!!! When the heck did they stop including that in the package? Come on Creative, don't be so cheap! I had one with my first M but had to give it back for the exchange (for the afore mentioned locking), run around town from store to store to try and find a new one, then lose out on the wall charger to boot!

How 'bout sending me a free wall charger for my loyalty Creative...?!

I have received word that the Vion M is being discontiuned all over the Chicagoland area.

All Best Buys, All Crucit Citys, All Micro Centers, All Wal-marts...any other stores left?

I want to get a Zen Vision M 60 Gig but who will carry it?

I would like to know what is going on.

luckylady, i feel your pain. i want one really badly as well and the 30g just wont cut it.

a question that doesnt exactly apply to this thread; i have heard that the software for the 30g is way ahead of the software on the 60g. why is that and what is the difference?

Here in Portugal, same deal. Now the 60GB is not available everywhere
Even tried some other stores in Europe that last week had it, now it's gone!
Does this means that it will be a new model comming up? Or should I buy now the 30GB version?

It's really interesting, as I see ads for the V Plus and Stone everywhere, but the Vision M and W are extremely hard to find. At least there was rumor that the M was coming out before it came out. If anything new IS on it's way, Creative is being really quiet about it this time around.
Course, then again, maybe Creative is getting out of the mp3 player business....?

Don't quote me on this but....I believe a slimline 60gb version of the Vision M will be replacing the exisiting one in the US and Europe.  As far as I'm aware it's already been released in Asian.

The new version will have the same depth (measurement) as the 30gb.

Well this truly sucks! I bought my vision M 60gb in Japan when I was on a trip. If they end up canceling all together there goes another good player lost to the crap-pod.
