Well it's finally happened.
My Prodikeys has finally stopped working and I've binned it.
Shame it never got to see any Vista 64 drivers.
At least i'll know to avoid buying anything from Creative again. ![]()
Regards to all.

hm... seems like creative only know how to sale their product but don't know how to support them. It's like
" Learning to pass exam not to become smarter " .. sell the product, who care about the after sale...

installed Windows 7 32 bit Home premium on a spare hard drive. Did nothing after the install but plugged in the prodikeys keyboard. Installed the Vista software. It installed fine. Only asked if I really wanted to install an unsigned driver (midi keyboard) - obviously said yes.
After the reboot, I started mini-keys and can play the keyboard (obviously not to any degree of talent !!!!) but it works just fine. If anyone has issues then do a clean install of Windows 7 (I know, it's a hassle), install prodikeys vista software, make sure it works then install the rest of your software/updates etc. If it then fails it's something you just installed !!!
Now, if only they did a proper 64 bit driver....
Regards
Adrain

well... it seems like, creative never learn, still releasing the unique-hardware dependance driver.
Mybe you can share the driver-only in this community.

Please, can someone HELP me! I am so thankful for the drivers, but I can't get the software to detect the keyboard when I plug it in. I have Windows 7, 32-bit on a laptop. The computer knows its there, and the typing keyboard works, but the computer does not detect the music keyboard at all. Help is super-appriciated because I don't want to send such a nice Christmas present back.![]()

There's no way to get this keyboard ( I mean the music key ) to work under Windows 7.. emm.. on a laptop again?
Are you using the USB or the PS/2 version?

Laptop, usb, but seriously? No way for it to work, cause i really wanted not to send this back. It really is the most superior usb keyboard, with a reasonable price, that is. Thanks for saving me from a fresh install, cause thats what an earlier post said to do.

Yup... no way to get it working on Windows 7, especially on laptop, because the USB port have limited current on some model.
Ask creative? well, wait for another 2~3 days to get their response.
Better reinstall Windows vista and try the keyboard.

As I stated above, you can install the MIDI keyboard under Windows 7 32 bit by using the Vista drivers/programs. And I did it on a laptop via USB so yes it is possible and can be done. Just don't upgrade to 64 bit Windows 7 because then you are so outta luck.
