Audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA compatibility

I want to buy the Audigy 2 ZS notebook soundcard but I'm not sure if it will work with my laptop. The website states that the card is incompatible with the PCMCIA controller TI PCI-1520. My laptop has the controller TI PCI-1510. Does anyone know if it will work?? If not, are there any alternatives (other PCMCIA sound cards with similar price/performance)?

Thanks in advance

Re: Audigy 2 ZS PCMCIA compatibility

Please someone tell me where I can get drivers that will work with TI PCI-1510 and Audigy 2 ZS Notebook. The windows XP driver for the controller are 5.1.2600 and thats all I can find on the net. My laptop is Thinkpad R51. I had no problem with Thinkpad A31 but I am scratching my head now

Luck would have it I got hold of a Lenovo ThinkPad T60. It has the same PCMCIA controller as the R51 as Killigrew above says and the Audigy DOES work with it. WTF. :manvery-happy:
