Portable Media Players

I have just remanaged much of my incorectly labeled and tagged MP3s in Windows Media Player with the help of the "find album info" button. And manually fixing what the metaservice couldn't find. And now, after all that work, after syncing it (or even manually copying the files over to the device), the player does not seem to be reading the ID3 info corectly as many files are compunt up as "unknown album". For most of the albums one or two files will show up correctly under the correct album name, however most of the album will only show up under "unknown album". (using latest firmware 1.01.01).

UPDATE: Issue happens with Creative Centrale too...

I would do all  tag editing from the file itself & not thru WMP that way you know they are correct. Then open the Media Player software CHECK that when you delete files from the Music Library of that program that is DOES NOT delete them from the computer then have the program re-add then & they should be correct.

download creative media source 5 .. it solved my problem
