Beta driver for X-Fi Titanium users

[ Edited ]

Hi everyone,

We have a beta driver for X-Fi Titanium users that may resolve OpenAL game crashes.

Please visit our FTP server to download the file:

ftp://xftp01.ctl.creative.com/OUT/Titanium/Beta driver/Xram/

If you are using IE7 and you are getting the Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage, in your browser, click on Page followed by Open FTP site in Windows Explorer. This should bring up the Log On screen.

On your Log On screen, enter the following:

Username: betaex
password: AVPavp2008

You should see two files, Install.zip (the beta driver) and Xram.zip (registry file to disable the X-RAM feature).

If you continue to experience game crashes, try disabling the X-RAM by unzipping and double-clicking the Xram.zip file.

Please post your observations & feedback in this thread.

Note:

*  THIS IS AN UNSUPPORTED BETA DRIVER. There is no technical support for this driver.
* We recommend that only experienced users install this driver. Do not install this driver on a system used to perform critical tasks.
* Users who are looking for stable drivers should wait for the final release. When this happens, user should install the latest Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium series driver available.
