Hi everyone.

I just did a complete reinstall, moving from Vista to Windows 7.

I now get no sound out of my EMU0404USB. I'm running the Vista drivers. I've set it as the default device but nothing's coming out.

No, there shouldn't be issues.

You installed those last drivers from E-MU support and updated the firmware as recommended?

Try first if some ASIO compatible playback software works for you.

Thanks for the advice.

Turned out it was my Realtek drivers that were the issue.

I had found the mic levels -- even when maxed -- were almost inaudible. Did some research and it was suggested I update my Realtek drivers.

So I did that and presto -- Emu and mic problems solved! =-)
