Hi,
First of all, please ignore any ignorance I show - I'm new to this sort of equipment/software, so please keep things simple for me!
I have just purchased an E-mu Xboard 49 & installed everything as prompted. I am just following the Xboard tutorial on how to get everything set up & got to the bit where it says "Play the Proteus X Composer Bank". If I don't hear any sound, it prompts me to 'verify that you have the PatchMix DSP Product Default session loaded'.
I had no idea what that was, so googled it. Everywhere I look, it is telling me to click on the E-mu icon in the icon tray in order to load PatchMix. However, I don't have this icon...
I thought maybe something was missed during installation, so I reinstalled everything & checked out all the available downloads for the Xboard 49 on E-mu's website, but still no luck.
Any ideas on what to do?
Thanks in advance,
Sara.
(P.S. If it helps, I'm using Windows XP & Live Lite 4, which came with the E-mu software).

Hi SaraP,
Please take note that the tutorial is for the Proteus X Composer Bank software, not the Xboard. You can find the tutorial for the Xboard on the download section, it's the last item on the page. If you still need further assistance, please contact E-MU Customer Support.
Edit: Added the link for the Xboard tutorial.
