Hello, im new around here, im from Argentina.

This is the situation, when i load Proteus X2 as a VSTi in any host app (Nuendo, Cubase, Ableton) the app automatly crashes and the only solution to proceed with my project is restarting, the crazy thing is that ProteusX2 actually works in standalone version, but not as a VSTi in a host app.

I reinstall Proteus like 5 times, but the problem persist.

Please help!

Windows XP SP3

Audio = Alesis IO2

Core 2 duo E6750

ASUS p5w DH deluxe

I'm having exactly the same problem, i.e. Proteus works in standalone mode but not as a plugin (in Ableton Live).  Any help would be much appreciated as the standalone version is not much use to me!

MY PC has just been completely rebuilt; all other apps and hardware working fine.

Mmmm, seems no one wants to answer this one.  I've wasted many hours trying to get X2 to work, bottom line is  .... IT DONT.

Its worse than pro tools to try to get running and with none of the benefits.  I installed mine with the 2x2 midi interface, that sees midi in and out of cubase, cakewalk and pro tools, but the vsti wont load and the standalone fires up for a second then disappears. I've sent endless e mails to tech support but not even an acknowledgement yet.

Feels very much like 'Creative have your money, not our problem'

Real poor show.
