Sound Blaster X-Fi series Support Pack 1.1

 

Supported X-Fi models (except Xtreme Audio, there is 64-bit only package available:

 

- Creative SB X-Fi PCI (OEM/Retail Elite Pro, Fatal1ty, Platinum, Platinum Fatal1ty Champion, XtremeGamer, XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro, XtremeMusic)

 

- Creative SB X-Fi OEM SB077x PCI (Hendrix models for Dell, HP, Gateway, Lenovo, Fujitsu-Siemens, Alienware and others)

 

- Creative SB X-Fi Titanium PCI-E (all Retail/OEM models)

Windows Security warning during driver installation

 

When prompted with:
"Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software" choose "Install this driver software anyway".

 

 

 

List of Improvements and fixes

- THX Console works with Auzentech X-Fi Prelude and other cards

 

- All setup scripts were modified to detect Windows 7 Beta.

This is what I meant when I asked about the Application Package.

Core2 DUO e6750 @ 2.66GHZ, ASUS P5KC mb, 2 gig ddr2 800 ram DC, 2x500 gig sata2 hdd, x-fi xtreme music, nvidia geforce 8800gt 512mb pcie, windows 7 Beta, Thermaltake 750watt toughpower power supply.

Daniel K you are the BEST.  I have Snap Crackle Pop Issues on vista with my X-FI Elite Pro!  I never had problems on XP Pro and I don't have problems on windows 7 ( with the latest Creative Drivers).   I hope to be able to use windows 7 full time with your driver.  If I have any issues I will post theme here.

I installed the windows 7 build 7000 with the drives and softwares to Vista (SBXF_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0008 and CSL_PCAPP_LB_2_60_35A)

 

I will need unistall it or the setup of new pack will do it for me?

Hi, thanks for the pack, its nice to see you back...

are you working on audigy drivers (audigy live 24bits for example) for windows 7? mine only works with 2.0 and not 5.1 (CMSS disable).. thank you.

thank you for the drivers, we appreciate your effort but I notice that in every thread that anybody speak about daniels you jump and start talk about yours. please leave daniel do what he is best for...

 BTW I have tried your drivers and doesn't have CMSS working properly under win7.

Don't forget that the PAX drivers fix all the BASS troubles!!  If only we can get a combo of thier drivers sets.. (CMSS working in Win7 and BASS corrected like in the 6.30)!!   PAX.. If you read this.. PLEASE FIX THE BASS IN Dan K's Pack to make the ultimate collabrative pack between two very talented individuals!!

DON'T fix the bass, there is NO NEED TO.The bass is fine here and the YouPAX drivers have awful loud bass :/
