Compatible sound card for a WinFast TV tuner

I have a WinFast TV tuner that requires a 4-pin cable connection. What sound cards would work? What would you guys recommend?

Bump

Surely somebody out there knows a sound card that will use a four pin audio cable.

Four pin audio connector, er...
Your description is a bit vague do you mean the internal cd audio plug, if so most internal SB cards can use this connector however they are very rarely used now, that is unless you are still using win 98.

I think you would find more answers to your questions by contacting your tv card manufacturer and asking them as it could be a completely different connection to the one on the sound cards.

Re: Compatible sound card for a WinFast TV tuner

I'm sorry it's vague. I just don't really know what else to add beside the fact that I'm using Windows XP Pro. I've spoken with the tv card manufacturer a number of times and I hear the same thing every time. They tell me to connect the 4-pin audio cable to the sound card, but I don't have anywhere to connect the cable to. When I tell them this, they just tell me out of luck then and that they can't help me anymore. I'd like to think that there is a sound card that would be able to do this. Surely a company wouldn't make a product that can't be used correctly.

I know what you mean, you're talking about the 4 pin CD Audio In or Aux In header on most of our sound cards. I know some TV Tuner cards plug into that, some plug into the Line In on the back, and some work via PCI instead.

Just look through our Product Pages, you should be able to see those headers there, or on the Specification pages for each soundcard. For example:

Audigy SE Specifications

The Aux Audio In should work, and other cards on this website have it too. :smileyhappy:
