Hello to everyone,
I recently purchased a X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Proffesional series sound card. I installed the card, and im almost 100% sure that I installed it right, because I'm getting the white light on the side of the card. But I plug the power back in and my computer makes the noise it usually makes when it turns on but the noise wont stop for about 10 seconds. Then the computer shuts off, then turns back on and makes the noise, but doesnt shut off again.
My system specs are:
Windows Vista 64-bit
9800GT
4GBs of ram
640GB HDD
15GB HDD
Q9300
400watt PSU.
Im also assuming this MIGHT be a power issue, however I have been informed that sound cards usually tend to use a trivial amount of power.
