Is the model number embedded in the serial number also sb0220, or is the final digit different?

Do any of these work for the SB0220 5.1 live?

Could not detect any sound blaster audio card on your system
please insure that your sound blaster hardware is properly installed.
I'm pretty sure I installed it right. There shouldn't be anything I need to do besides plug it into a pci slot right?
Thanks a Ton :)

Thanks a lot for your original CD uploads. I just registered to post a thanks to ya
My Problem was:
I had a DELL OEM Soundblaster X-FI Xtreme music card and didnt have any creative softwares except the "creative Audio console". So it was difficult for me to test speakers, change settigns and other stuff.
What I did:
just downloaded the X-FI CD from your site, downloaded a mod from another site to make the CD work with OEM cards and now Everything is fluid. I love my card lyk never before now
Cheers

In the \audio directory on the installation CD, do you have subdirectories named eaxcon, spkset, surmixer, etc? If so, run the setup files in these directories to install those applets. Also, I assume you installed the driver from the CD. (If not, try running ctzapxx.exe in the \audio\drivers subdirectory on the CD and select "overwrite existing...".)
There was some discussion on the forums about installing Audigy 2 software for Audigy cards. I don't have a link handy other than what I posted a little earlier, but a forum search should turn it up. I don't have any information on using Audigy 4 software.

Have you tried it in different PCI slots? Also make sure any onboard sound is disabled in BIOS.
