"Another thing, how is it that you at creative have failed to adequately
protect your precious IP [wich is completely worthless now btw]. If a
third party was able to write drivers without being able to look at the
source? No matter now, Daniel_K will no doubt be hired by your
competitors anyway. If Daniel_K was able to do this, dont you think
your competitors would have known about this anyway? "

This is an interesting point. CA Civil Code requires a "trade secret" to be "the subject of efforts that are reasonable under the circumstances to maintain its secrecy." Cal Civ Code Ann. §3426.1(d) (Lexis current through 2008 Extraordinary Sess.).
Policy and moral conduct aside, how do you expect to win in a lawsuit Creative? This is a free market, we have the right to enjoy unfettered competition. You are incapacitating this right under the guise that you are protecting yourself from unfair conduct by a single customer/programmer (Daneil).

It's earth hour here on the east coast too! Ouch; Creative doesn't have much regard for the environment either.
(this laptop is powered by a solar panel + battery combo. I'm not violating earth hour
)

MrCobra wrote:We are neither. We are p*ssed off consumers that got shafted. The Audigy and X-Fi cards are more than capable of providing the functionality in Vista, that Creative insists doesn't exists, and they choose to deliberately lie about it and cripple the drivers to keep it from working. That has been proven by the modded drivers. So yes, the cards do work in Vista, but without any assistance from Creative.
And I'm sure you'll agree with me that the best way to send a message is taking your business elsewhere. I don't think this company has any leadership or they have a very great way of hiding it.
wow...... Nice one Creative, I had the misfortion of usi...

wow...... Nice one Creative, I had the misfortune of using your terrible Vista drivers with my X-Fi and eventually went back to XP to get the functionality I paid for.....
I usually recommend Creative to friends and family but I guess its time to look elsewhere, I'm sure a lot of others used to recommend Creative too but this thread has been Dugg and I smell a severe drop in Creative sales in the coming weeks, Especially seen as none of your X-Fi cards will work in Vista now.. LOL?
So does this mean there is a working Vista Driver on the way? How much more could you possibley fail? Vista has been out for over a year now and i'm sure you have had access to it for a lot longer than that.....
P.s lolololol Buy some new PR folk

Creative Labs has lost another customer. I will never buy from you again.
