You never give up do you? Are you bi-polar or something? Are you in some psychiatric ward or something and you get a few mins of computer time? Seriously you have issues fella.

I've been working and am good friends with Rob now for +1 year. We speak daily and message other quite a lot. I know Rob pretty **bleep** well. I know for a fact he never steals anything. Rob works on his drivers every single day. I test at least 2 itterations of his drivers a week. We've never touched your drivers. We couldn't give a crap about your drivers. You are the furthest thought from our minds fella. You need to grow and wake up a little bit. You have been harassing him online and making false accusations for a long time and it's getting quite annoying since you have been told to stop this many times and persist with false accusations. I wish the mods here would ban your indefinitely and do everyone a big favour.

Daniel, Just like the SB X-Fi Forte v1.1 driver 2.20.0001 - (08/06/2009), SPDIF does not work with this driver as well.

Thx Dan for yet another driver.

Tho, the argument you guys are having, is so silly. None of the drivers are "youre work". Sure you mod it, and you fix it and so forth. But it is made by Creative, anyone that mods these are not the "owners" of the files. So this is such a silly thing to fight about! We all appreciate youre hard "work", atleast I do, but still keep it real!? And as already said in the thread, you are all trying to help people? Or if you only are doing this for the "fame", might I suggest finding a new career? :smileywink:

Hey people. This driver is the FIRST one that my X-Fi Platinum has worked with properly on Windows 7. I tried official, old official, beta semi-official, prelude modded, forte modded – to no avail. And we’re not talking measly snap, crackle and pop which were fairly abundant, but issues much worse in nature. Quite occasionally something would crackle really badly and then the whole OS would come to a crawl: i.e., file transfer would occur at 5-6 mb/sec. These drivers make the Creative hardware work. Frankly, I couldn’t use the X-Fi before. Now - everything works: headphone modes, games, SPDIF, etc. Sound is beautiful. Instead of meddling in petty bickering, praise the _hell_ out of Daniel_K. Thank you Daniel!!! P.S. If somebody takes a fairly broken driver, fixes and releases for free (or mods an Auzentech driver for compliance, I couldn't care less: X-Fi _finally_ works) – rather than engaging in a metaphysical intellectual property debate, simply thank the person.

Heh, three restarts and X-Fi is back to it's "normal" state. Terrible s.c.p. and occasional OS standstills.

Absolutely perfect!

This driver is the best modded driver of you available so far, Daniel K!
No problems with it, everything works as expected in combination with your Support Pack 2.0

This driver makes my X-Fi XtremeGamer sound even better than with Daniel K's previous Forte 1.1 driver (don't forget it depends on your sound system and  subjective detection).

I have to admit that it's really interesting how much unused potential the X-Fi chip has. Almost every new modded Auzentech driver improved the soundquality for me.

I'm in the same boat. No SPDIF on the XtremeMusic + Receiver w/ Win7 64-bit RC.  I tried using Driver Sweeper in safe mode and then installing agaiin, didn't help. Additionally the Creative Audio Control Panel wouldn't open when installed from the 2.0 Support Pack. Creative's latest drivers work fine so I went back to them.

I wanted to try Dan's drivers cause I'm getting semi-rare half second audio cutouts when using DDL or DTS Connect. It's not that bad, but this shouldn't be happening.
