Thanks for making a pack. I'm using the separate driver you made available earlier, but will use this to add some Creative applications I also want. I hope there will be a final (nonbeta) Auzentech Prelude driver later on, because it is the driver that works best for my Creative X-Fi and nForce motherboard/4GB. I currently have no problems with this, but of course my usage might be limited to certain functions. But for example things like using SPDIF digital input on the Drivebay, and also headphone out and line2/mic2 input there (Ventrilo during gaming) works very well. Playing music with foobar2000 works with great sound even during load and HDD activity.

This pack is a keeper for me. I installed it after uninstalling the standalone modded Auzentech UAA driver.
So a checklist from me, what I tested.
* nForce4 motherboard / 4GB / Creative X-Fi / Windows 7 64-bit - No constant crackling/static problem using full 4GB, perfect sound for me.
* Drivebay and input/output - SPDIF input (using optical) working, headphones out working, line2/mic2 input working (microphone). Using 2.1 analog out on back of X-Fi card works fine, also used the Line In analog input on the back of the card and it worked fine.
* Playback devices and Default format - This one sets default format to 24-bit/48Khz which should be default (the previous UAA driver set it to 16-bit/48Khz). The tone controls are set to correct default for me +/- 0 (the previous UAA driver set it to negative on both)
* Heavy HDD load - I listened to music on foobar2000 with my headphones while defragging and also copying large files from USB and over internal HDD. No crackling during any HDD activity.
* Heavy CPU load - Played back a H264 testfile peaking about 70% CPU usage while also listening to music on foobar2000. No crackling detected.
* Game/GPU load - Ran DoWII and used the built-in performancetest a few times an Ultra setting while still playing music on foobar2000. No crackling noticed.
So best driver for me so far since me switching to Vista x64 several years ago (all tests now where run on Window 7). Of course I haven't tested everything, but thats because I don't use all features.

Just installed. No issues for me thus far. In all the dialog boxes in Windows 7 it says it is a wdm driver - although I don't think this is a problem. I am using an xtremeMusic
If you're a bit slow like me to clarify the channel assignment instructions even further for 5.1 users. Open the THX panel. change your setup from 5.1 to 7.1. Using channel assignment/reassign - click the speakers in the order that they appear on the above diagram. Then change back to 5.1 speakers.
Cheers DK - I will report back any findings.
