USB suport?

Hi just got new headphones and they only got USB connection, ofcourse only now saw that X-fi dont have any USB connection.
Is there any hmm dont know what its called in english but, a connection that  i can buy and connect to the USB making it fit to a connection in the X-fi sound card?

no there isn't but you can search the forum for a software that can route the soundcard output to the usb.

The connection cannot be converted that I know of (and the headset probably wouldn't support that), but in essence USB headsets are designed to work as their own seperate audio devices, independently of a soundcard.

Ah yes it works, BUT :smileytongue: cant open the file when its downloaded. Windows dont even know what file it is :smileyhappy:

The file format is 7 Zip (WinZip, WinRar, etc..)

There is a Stereo jack to USB audio adapter but I haven't seen a USB to Stereo jack adapter. You may want to pick up a new set of Headsets that have a Stereo jack connector instead, there are some that have adapters that'll go from a Stereo jack to Mini stereo jack or vice versa.

Besides, unless you have a whole lot of memory available, a USB audio headset will either or both slow your system down, make your sound choppy in games. The sound quality will also be degraded.
