Ever since I updated to Creative Sound Blaster Audigy, Audigy 2 series and Audigy 4 series Driver 02.08.0004 I have a new startup under msconfig called CTxfiReg.exe. Does anyone know what it is and can I disable it from startup?

Yes you can disable this.I believe the only purpose of this prog. is to remember you to register your Creative hardware.

nah the only purpose of the file is for people like us to disable it in the startup entries.
A useless file by a useless company, hmm sort of make sense doesn't it ?
