So I finally got to buy my Dolby Digital pack.

I've activated it, and gained a "Encoder" tab in the Creative Audio Console.

When I tick "Enable Dolby Digital Live", nothing really happens. Sometimes the sound cuts out for a moment.

If I close the console, the box unchecks on it's own. It's not saving the settings either! Reminds me of the crappy CThelper.exe bug....

I have "Speakers" set as the default audio provider -but I'm still nothing but stereo from SPDIF.

I've uninstalled, swept drivers and re-installed -but still only Stereo from the 5.1 software! ARGHHH!!

Has anyone got any advice for getting this to work?

Of course

I've erased everything, and started again but it remains the same!

At least they provide a whole 10 days to get a refund.

Shame, because redocnexk works ok.

The new drivers appear to be b*ll*cks!  howver, ironically, despite their massive flaws said flaws don't affect really so i'm enjoying DDL.  lol.

Still a b*stard though - come on Creative, for the love of god.

Where's my analogue output gone?!

My analogue cuts out every now and then too, but I finally fixed the Dolby Digital Live!

It does sound good too.

I have occasional problem with DDL. Installed it yesterday, along with latest drivers.

Issue is that sometimes (like once per hour) seems like it drops sound and re-establishes it again.

Also, having issue with adjusting bass/treble (not really working), and while fiddling with those, sound does seem to cut like above said too.

OS is Vista x64.

I can't even install this pack Installer quits with error "unable to detect a supported product" on my Audigy 4 under XP. Have been waiting it for months and were so exited when I bought it but now I cant even install it...

Have you tried installing the Dolby Pack in safe mode?

It might be an idea to try it as an administrator, with no Virus programs, spybot etc.

I have tried everything I can think of except format and nothing works.

I have the same problem. Vista 32 bit Ultimate. Audigy 4. Daniel's driver installed previously. Uninstalled, drivercleaner used. Newest driver installs without any problem. Can't install purchased DDL Pack. "Setup is unable to detect a supported...". :-(
