X-FI cannot change modes

I have the X-FI Pro. I am stuck in game mode. I can select one of the other modes, hear the relays click, see the LEDs flash on the box, but the mode itself does not change. I've tried this after a fresh boot and tried rebooting after changing the mode. I don't get an error message either. Any help would be appreciated.

Spinaker,

Weird. Have you try uninstalling everything and reinstall from the CD again?

Thanks for your reply.  I did a fresh install a couple of times.  The problem is now resolved thanks to Daniel from Creative.  I sent an email to support as well.  He suggested a number of things.  My problem was due to a sharing of an IRQ with my video card.  Once I  physically moved the X-FI in my PC, it was assigned a new IRQ and was no longer sharing.  I reinstalled everything and now it works great.
