X-Fi Titanium Background Noise

Hello all,

I recently reinstall windows and after installing the creative driver for my X-Fi Titanium there is is the background noise only when there is no audio output.  This is occuring SPDIF out.  It stops before a system sound is about to play and then starts right back up after it is played.  If i open winamp and play a song and pause it the noise is not there.  However if i close winamp the sound comes back.  I tried the latest driver on the creative site and i also tried a ealier driver that came with the card.  I am running Windows Vista x64.  All help and advice accepted.

Re: X-Fi Titanium Background Noise

Sorry for the late reply but my final fix was to completely discard the creative drive and use the default windows HD driver which works better that the creative one in my opinion.
