I recently did a overhaul of my PC and am using XP x64. After I got everything up and running, I noticed that EAX was not able to be enabled within Guild Wars. I then loaded up Everest to check the DirectX audio information and found that there were no hardware accelerated streams or any EAX support. I've never seen this happen before.

I did some web searching and found that it is a common issue with 4 GB RAM and X-Fi cards. In my case, appears to be a problem with Audigy as well. Is there going to be a driver fix for this?

One thing you can try is to look in your BIOS and see if there is an option named Memory Remap or something and try to turn it off. It may help but at the expense of the ability to use all 4GB of RAM.

If it helps then the Creative 64-bit drivers are still broken like they were two years ago.

I have the same problems with similar configuration (Audigy 2 Platinum). More importantly, microphone doesn't works, except when using a special program VSTHost. But VSTHost doesn't matters, I want Skype! With less RAM, microphone worked ok (tested with Windows Sound Recorder).

swaaye, do you also have a problem with microphone?

In the past when I tried to solve the non-working Hardware Buffering problem in DirectX tests, disabling the Memory Hole option in bios helped, but the available RAM was reduced to 2.2GB. Unacceptabe.

Can anybody else confirm if this driver works on Audigy 2 and is not some trojan infested joke?

Same Problem!
I have 4 GiB of RAM @ Core 2 Quad so I can't stop using memory remapping feature. It's unacceptable. And I'm using XP 64 - not ANY input works on my Audigy 2 ZS - microphone, line-in, "What-U-Hear" - nothing. This is terrible!!! And I have no EAX.
What for I spent my money if it doesn't work? 8(((((

BTW - Under Vista x64 it seems to be no such problems at all. =/ But I don't like Vista.

i get from other web. that web is famous of world of x64 www.planetamd64.com

no virus ans spyware i send files to nod32 and no virus.

im install this drivers and im play crysis with 5.1 and CoD4 too.

But it works only with X-FI. And it's not Creative stuff work. Where is Creative programmers with their support? May be they think it's not important - support their customers?

I wrote a letter to Creative Support, but I'm even not sure that it has been posted to support. =/
