Well it is still there, which means you need to disable that onboard audio and then reinstall your Creative drivers to make it the default audio processor.

I've already tried that, disabling onboard via bios. But "What U Hear" still says "Currently Unavailable"

The What U Hear did that to me, then I chose it as default recording device and rebooted.  I did have to have a microphone plugged in and detected, then I had other options to choose from, then I could make what U hear a chooseable recording device.

Tried that. Did nothing. If anyone else has a suggestion, please comment.
