After trading in my Logitech X-540 (which i found was underpowered but had great and accurate bass) I bought the Gigaworks S750.
It has great great sound but the bass is all warbly and flabby. After almost a long time playing with settings, I have discovered those wobbling bass frequencies that so many reviews critisize of these speakers CAN BE TAMED. I have got snappy kicks and nice humming basslines in my music now...
Do this. You will see....
1) Use Game Mode (you need the bass cross over.)
2) Enable Bass Reduction, and set crossover frequency at 40 hz.
3) Enable the 'EQ'.
4) Lower the master level to -12.0db, then.....
31hz : -12db
62hz : 2.5db
125hz to 16hz : 12db
I like to use the CMSS-3D Stereo Surround for my 'upmix'. Balanced front and rear.
