Hi!

Is there a possibility to buy the "control audio pad" separately? I'm using the S750 since ~ 6 years and i'm convinced that this pad will not survive the next weeks... why? If i turn on the power, it takes up to 5 minutes that the LED gets red, so i can turn it on. And in this 5 min. the LED flickers (btw: after turning on the GW works fine).

Or what do i need to repair this part? I read something about a fuse?! And where can i buy it? So many questions... ;-)

Hi there,

It would appear that many others have attempted to purchase the audio control POD seperate from Creative. Unfortunately, Creative do not seem to sell this part seperately. Your best bet would be to snaffle one off someone selling their set on ebay and the likes. It would perhaps be better if you made sure it was the POD at fault. Six years is a pretty amazing life span and there's any number of things that could be causing this issue other than the pod itself.

There's ~135 pages of horror stories a few threads up this board, perhaps set yourself an evening to do some light reading.

In any case, good luck getting your issue resolved. The S750's are an amazing system and are becoming a bit of a rarity

thanks for answer and informations. I'll already tried to get a pod on ebay (a few days ago), but someone knocked me out (**bleep** happens).

And i'm sure that the pod *is* the problem, because the system is working without any malfunction after having 'the green led'.
