Speaker Systems

I have a Inspire T7900 7.1 speaker system. The remote volume control has broken and as a consequence the speaker system cannot be turned on. Creative say they are unable to supply a replacement part as the products only come in complete sets ( I find this astonishing). Does anybody know who could supply this part. Am grateful for any assistance.

Hi, I have the same problem. I found on the Creative website the Creative i200 wireless remote which can replace the T7900 remote. now the stupid thing is they havn't put a price on it. So I emailed Creative with my problem and asked for the price of the product or a way of getting a replacement for the remote. I got a quick reply today but unfortunatly I got the same reply as you Dambuster!! So now I have an awesome system yet no way of controlling it!! LAME!
