I notice when I record in low light that there is like two dots on the right side, I can't see them when I look at the Vado screen but when I record I can see them, they are on the recording as well, any idea what this might be?,  I have made sure it's no anything on the lens.

You could upload a snippet to Youtube and post the link here so we could check out the issue.

My uneducated guess is that a few camera pixels are semi-defective and more sensitive to light.  Or maybe they are always stuck you just don't notice them on a white/bright background?

Since I charged my Vado it is not doing it, will see if it come back when the battery level goes down a bit, then I will do as you advised and put a clip up on youtube, good idea.

I also had this exact problem with my Vado HD.

It did not go away after another 2 days of use, so I sent it back to the shop and got a new one.

Mine has exactly the same issue! Did anyone managed to get theirs replaced with Creative?

I have same problem with my Vado HD, 2 scintillating dots on all indoor movies, especially with a relatively low brightness, and this 2 dots become larger when i use zoom !  

The firmware upgrade does not solve the problem.

Someone from Creative can explain this bug ?

The last Vado HD 2nd generation not have this problem, firmware is v1250. Is possible to download this firmware to install in Vado HD 1st generation ? Hardware is the same, no?
