When vado central transfers movies from vado hd onto my imac, each clip gets the date of the transfer, not the date the movie was taken. I have the latest vado central for macs (1.1.0f6). I've tried both "Transfer" and "iMovie" download methods from vado central. When I use "Transfer", the file in the Finder has the download time, and when I use "iMovie" the date in imovie (09) is also the download time.
If I open up the vado hd drive in the Finder and look at the file on the device, it has the correct time and date, when the movie was taken. If I drag the file from the drive onto the desktop myself, the original, correct time and date is preserved.
So, it's vado central that is rewriting the time and date on each clip when it transfers it onto the computer.
Is this just me? Or just macs? I haven't seen other complaints about this. I have the big and unhappy job ahead of me to guess and fix a bunch of dates.
