No 7.1 output in PowerDVD on Windows 7 with XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro

[ Edited ]

I'm totally confused after hours of reading the forum and installing different drivers. My problem is that I cannot get 7.1 output on the latest PowerDVD 9, all i can get is the stereo output and its alternatives.

My specs are

- Windows 7 x64

- XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro, with the latest drivers 2.18.3 and Daniel's SB X-Fi Series Support Pack 2.0

- Creative Inspire T7700 7.1 Speakers (analog sound)

- PowerDVD 9 b.2227 (i also installed latest k-lite codecs with' playback only' option chosen)

What i exactly mean is that previously on Windows xp i could have 5.1 sound played by PowerDVD 9 on 7.1 speakers, which i cannot get with Windows 7. Now, 5.1 sound is played as an ordinary stereo. Surprisingly, when i change the configuration to 6 speakers in Powerdvd i can get surround sound with both side speakers completely dead. The thing applies to other players like WMP or WMP Classic. Moreover, CMSS-3D works fine while playing mp3s or audio cds, all 8 speakers play music.

More precisely, you can see what i mean in the screenshots.

What  can I do to enable the 7.1 output? Is there something wrong with creative drivers on W7 or Powerdvd or both?

I really appreciate your advice and help. Thank you in advance.
