I dont think he was bragging or anything Its just pointing the fact that it IS possible to make Xtreme gamer working on W7 x64.

Have W7 64bit RTM version, and Xtreme Gamer, working on latest Creative drivers and Vista Console launcher. Works great as for sound quality, have couple issues though. No THX, Console launcher doesnt work on autostart, also no surround in only some of the games (like TRine for example, but NFS SHIFT works perfectly on 5.1). Movies n music have full surround though.

Speakers are T series Creative 5.1.

I kinda took that the same way, really an unnecessary way to respond to you Lizard.

It's good that you have some function, but you don't have full function, and that is the complaint here.

Creative is really hurting their image by not have a full set of drivers available for W7.

My soundcard has gone to Legacy, but since it is Audigy, the drivers for the line usually work. Apparently MS changed something for my series since they were working in W7 RC 64bit, but now I have minimal sound function. What is also a bit off is that ALchemy showed needing upgrading through the automated check even though it was not previously installed on my system.

Creative was the only real sound card for a long time, but now the competition is coming up and Creative is not helping themselves stay the leader by failing to supply new drivers or at least responding to its users stating why drivers are not available yet.

CMSS doesnt work, half drivers are simply useless and dont work. Other half need hard work to setup -_-.

Some Admin or similar comment on all these mostly negative comments about creative.

I already spoke to creative tech support about this issue and I knew more then the tech did. Everything he told me to try to resolve the issues I was having with the Win 7 drivers I had already done. His final answer was just wait for the new drivers.  June is a bit long without an update consider Win 7 is on the market. Come on Creative I would love to have working sound in Win 7 that doesnt pop or go away in 7.1 surround.

After more the 1/2 a year of hopes for a better driver support for my X-Fi Titanium I gave up hopes, pulled the card out of my PC and bought a Asus Xonar D2X. What use for EAX if you don't have a fully working driver for the product? Just throw away the worthless Creative products, they are not alone on the market anymore...

Creative are still the best quality sound cards out there.

But you must realize one important thing !

YOUR DRIVERS ARE MILDLY SAID BIG CR.. !!!

Audigy SE doesnt have fully working drivers at all... With P17X support pack drivers and my t6060 speakers i dont have EAX at all -_- and i dont have headphones at all -_-.

What use is creative if you cant use 75% of its best stuff ?

And a note to admins:

Guys you better adress to these issues as best as you can this forum isnt yours or creatives biggest problem at all. To much ppl have problems with their cards and they seem to have had enough of this and as a mather a fact so have i -_-. Creative support sucks BIG TIME.

The staff here only manages this forums, we do not have control over the driver release nor do we have an ETA at this time. We will post it in the forums as soon as we receive word on updates.

surly it cant be hard for you to find some sort of information about the status of drivers, afterall you do work for creative dont you?

How about you add something constructive and stop telling us users to shut up.
