Thanks!  I have wanted DDL for ages on my X-Fi Fatality Edition.  Do I have to install the 2.15.0006 driver?  I'd rather use the older one I have due to the Master Volume bug.

Not working

Ok just been to hell and back. I dont think it is your patch for dolby digital that is the problem, but rather your modded drivers that stop junctions breaking in vista:

1: I lost bass totally, nothing got it back within the confines of your driver set

2: Dolby Digital sorta works, I get the signal but no surround sound unless I choose CMSS3D which defeats the object?

3: So I uninstalled the dolby digital pack thing

4: Bass still missing, even switching modes no bass in games

5: So removed all your drivers

6: Reinstalled the official pack of drivers and console launcher

7: Bass restored and surround sound working

I do not mind beta testing and understand this had the chance of breaking stuff. So please consider this as feedback, and if you have some more drivers to test then I am willing.

Using Vista 64 Sp1.

You need the 2.15.0006 driver because it is derivated from Auzentech (2.14.00.000x, build 6.0.1.128x), so it is safe to use.

I think it is a software issue, not a driver one.

Install the X-Fi software from the ISO, including the drivers. -> The drivers are working fine, please read the instructions on how to change the Speaker configuration on Windows Vista.

For the time being, use the "junction fixed" drivers.

The drivers from the unofficial CD are working fine, please read the instructions on how to change the Speaker configuration on Windows Vista.

Very soon and it will be a patch to avoid issues with Creative's IP, as pointed out by their staff.

I'm releasing everything I have here.

Like I've said before, I can't reproduce the issue, but I'll redo the mod and re-release it.
