Is this driver a new one or it's just as same as the beta one? Because it has the same build number and seems still has the same issues.

No Software included with this. it just a Basic Driver. none of the Equalizer or anything else is included:smileyindifferent: So do we now have to again wait for the Software Suite ?

Re: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy series Vista Driver 2.12.0002 (9 Mar 07)

Going to try it now... Let's see how it works. I've been using since december latest winxp driver, on my audigy2, never even bothered to try the betas.
I'm suspecting this is the same as 001 version, only with different name, but let's wait and see... I'm working at my notebook, so later I'll say something...
My remote will continue to be useless, however... Though it's kinda grove having my secretary being decorated with it...

See u later!...

Absolutely fantastic, nothing is different from the beta. Well except from the Beta tag.

Perhaps one of the moderators could tell us, what has actually been fixed and resolved in this release, instead of the already known issues?

When will we get a decent mixer to use?

Re: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy series Vista Driver 2.12.0002 (9 Mar 07)

my god these drivers are horrible. i'm only interested in stereo sound but listening to music with these is terrible. the sound is flat and horrible. even using the tone control does nothing. what a sorry state of affairs when you can't even get stereo sound working.....

i'm going back to yesterday's xfi drivers. they sound fine on my audigy2 (just extract the files using winrar and run the setup.exe from within the \drivers subdirectory if anybody is interested).

Re: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy series Vista Driver 2.12.0002 (9 Mar 07)

U can use the same driver for the Audigy?

Then the driver is really basic, cause I think the X-Fi has another architecture than the Audigy
- Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 + Zalman 9700 LED
- MSI P6N (Nvidia 680i chipset), BIOS: P30
- 2GB DDR2 ram Corsair Dominator 1066Mhz
- MSI Geforce 8800GTS 640MB
- Creative X-Fi Elite Pro
- Seagate 320GB 7200/10
- Logitech MX-518
- Windows XP+SP2+DirectX9.0c
- Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
