The driver is working with Vista 5456, though I had to disable integrity check and uap to get them installed. I'm having 5.1 sound, but CMSS does not work.

Installation on build 5456 went smooth although I had to swap to the audio console installation page which is launches as a seperate process (why?) to be able to click on next to confirm the installtion path.
5.1 works but I cannot use it to expand stereo. The console cannot be launched! It states that the device supporting this program is not detected. All other goodies are not supported/present.
Main obeservation is that only multchannel playback is added and better line connection possibilites.
What I am missing is communication about what has been done/achieved which issues are still open etc.
CL please look at what nVidia communicates about a new driver release. Sometimes over more then 80 pages!!
Anyway keep this going and increase your pace as well as better communication. Nobody is asking for support we just want to be informed that's all.
Edit 13-7.
Re-installed the driver without changing anything to Vista's security settings. Seems that the audio control panel is working now and all settings are available and work!
I have to come back on my first observation, so it is time to just state "GOOD JOB CL WITH THIS DRIVER!"

Also - just FYI for whomever is reading - 32bit vista works perfect with the exception of a sound hiccup upon first sounding windows - it just cuts out half way through the login sound. After that - everything works amazingly. I think it works better in vista 32 than in XP 32

Anyone got any idea what's wrong?
Oh, and is it just me that much prefers the "new" audio-console with it's back to basics interface compared to that over stylized thing that was used in XP?
EDIT: Appears that it is only the right hand output that is working, I.E. the back of the card looks like this:
___1__ 2_3_4_5
\*****/ O O O O
and it's output 4 that gives any sound. 5 has currently got my soundcards input in it allthough i haven't got that working in vista yet. Anyone know what's up?

The previous drive reverts to software mode.
If I can watch movies and play games in Vista (with moderate success), I'll be blissfully happy until release.
