Hi. Nice one. Only took me 20 mins to download.

I've uninstalled the previous software (unofficial) and installed using this. I only install the console launcher and THX console as that's all I need.

Can you just clarify you get the same file versions as me? I realise you've posted them in the original post but these are what I get when I hover over the following files in the relevant folders:-

Consolcu - 2.20.7.0
THXConsl - 3.0.9.0

Is this right? Just wanted to make sure it's installed correctly as they seem very familiar from the previous install.

PS. Volume label should be "SOUND_BLASTER_X-FI_CD" - at least that's what I set mine to be based on the original disk that came with my X-Fi.

The label on the CD I recieved yesterday is "SB_INSTALL"

I haven't installed yet as I have been away, but the versions I see are as follows:

THX_CONSOLE_U : 3.00.12

AUDIO_CS : 2.30.09

Disk.id:

Sound Blaster X-Fi
SBXF-SIVIS-W2-LB
QS:
R03

I just noticed that it is not the latest driver.

It is the "beta" ISO version... without Wavestudio7, Smartrecoder, etc...

From what I have seen posted here, this ISO is older than the one Adam posted on BT.  You may want to look at the post he started yesterday.

No, it's not old. I have the new vista CD and made the ISO image.
