Sound Blaster Live Series naimad Mod LB_2_15_0002 mod Driver

Hi, Thank to "Daniel_K" and "alexs3d2" work, I read all forum info and took the Daniel_K mod driver and built one new mod with alexs3d2 Enhancements and last X-Fi drivers, this mod has full support for SB Live 4.1/5.1 series on windows vista, the driver version is 6.0.1.1302.

Audio console work¡¡ EAX work in games¡, in winamp and EAX´s effect in audio console work too¡ for this,use Creative_Alchemy_Universal_1.00.04 or Creative_ALchemy_1.00.03 both Daneil_K mod.

naimad Mod LB_2_15_0002 mod driver have full OpenAL and EAX support for SB live series, more alexs3d2 find out "Microsoft enhancements"; These enhancements allow highly advanced Bass Management Control, Speaker Fill (similar to CMSS, but MS sounds better), Room Correction and Loudness Equalization., the driver work on Vista 32 and 64bits.

Instruction:

Run setup, if ask the driver not whql,install anyway the driver work just fine, if you hear bad sound change spaker to 4 or 5.1, or change sample rate option in panel control,48000hz 16bit work for me, if you can´t hear any sound after install the driver or change speaker setting, only mute and unmute volume in windows mixer and this fix the problem, enjoy¡¡

Winamp 5.35 work perfect with ALchemy Universal 1.00.04 for SB Live! / Audigy have full support hardware acceleration and multi speakers, the sound is very good¡¡

Instruction for winamp and other players:

copy dsound.dll´s ALchemy directory to winamp folder. enjoy¡

Hola, gracias al trabajo de "Daniel_k" y "alexs2d2" lei toda la informacion que hay en el foro y tome el controlador mod de Daniel_k e hize un nuevo controlador mod con las mejoras de sonido descubiertas por alexs2d2 y los ultimos controladores de las sb X-fi, este nuevo controlador tiene completo soporte para SB Live 4.1/5.1 series en windows vista, la versiod del controlador es 6.0.1.1302.

La consola de audio funciona muy bien con los efectos EAX y todo, los juegos el winamp todo soporta EAX para los juegos y el winamp hay que usar Creative_Alchemy_Universal_1.00.04 or Creative_ALchemy_1.00.03 ambos son modificaciones de ALchemy echas por Daniel_k que andan bien sobre las sb llive.

naimad Mod LB_2_15_0002 mod controlador tiene un soporte completo de OpenAL y EAX para las SB live series mas el agregado de microsoft que fue descubierto por alexs3d2 en el controlador, estas mejoras son,highly advanced Bass Management Control, Speaker Fill (similar to CMSS, but MS sounds better), Room Correction and Loudness Equalization, el controlador trabaja en windows vista 32/64 bits.

Creative MediaSource Player/Organizer 5.10.38 funciona tambien.

Instrucciones:

Ejecutar el setup, si te dice que el controlador no esta firmado o verificado instalalo igual el controlador anda perfectamente, si tras la instalacion tienes un sonido distorcionado cambia los parlantes a 4.1 o 5.1 o cambia la conversion de muestreo en el panel de control de windows  a mi me funciona bien con 48000hz 16bit, si no puedes escuchar nada despues de instalar el controlador o cambiar las opciones de los parlantes, haz click en el icono de volumen en el mesclador de windows para silenciar el sonido luego has click devuelta y esto deberia solucionar el problema. que lo disfruten.

Winamp 5.35 funciona muy bien con ALchemy Universal 1.00.04 for SB Live! / Audigy tiene completa acceleracion de hardware, y eax.

Copia el archivo dsound.dll que hay en el directorio de ALchemy y pegalo en la carpeta del winamp, has lo mismo con otros reproductores.

Probado con una SB Live Value Modelo: CT4830 y Windows Vista ultimate 32/64bits

I've tried uninstalling, using driver cleaner, all manner of compatibility modes but the Audio console still doesn't function for me. It loads, but then under Speakers the listbox is empty (not even 1 option). Under EAX tab it's completely empty - nothing in the listbox to the right. Unfortunately it seems the driver is stuck in "headphone" mode, because even when set to quad or 5.1 under Vista's sound properties it makes the sound of all 4 speakers come out of the front speakers plug. It sounds like it's trying to approximate 3D using only a single left and right channel.

What is yours sb live model and vista version 32/64 home?

Other things, change speaker in windows mixer,

For multichannel sounds in windows vista environment, you have to enable Speaker Fill option in control panel - sound setting.

the audio console maybe not work in yours sb model, in my sb live model: CT4830 all work fine.

It was the Soundblaster Live! X-Gamer package. Alchemy would install, and EAX would appear in games, but if I ever turned EAX 2.0 on the sound drivers caused an instant blue screen of death and restart. (using Vista Ultimate edition, 32-bit)

I have the exact same problem with the Audio Console using the Audigy 2 ZS. I've gone through all the settings I can find in control panel / sounds, but I don't see any option for enabling fill. I set it to 5.1 speakers i nthe speakers configuration in windows sound, but still no speaker options in Audio Console, and all sound comes from front speakers.
