X-Fi Titanium Pro 2.17.007 + Voicetool (TS2/Ventrilo) = audiodg.exe 5-10% CPU-Usage

[ Edited ]

Hi!

The audiodg.exe cpuusage is nealy 0% without using a voice tool.

when i start ts2 or ventrilo it goes to 5-10%.

with 2.17.006 and prevoius drivers the problem doesn't exists.

Windows XP works well even with 2.17.007 ...but vista 32/64 and win 7 32/64 the problem occurs

Mainboard: nforce 790i ultra with nforce-drivers 15.51 and 15.25 tested

I am experiencing this as well on Windows 7/64bit.  Merely running ventrilo and not using it or having audio even enabled on it causes audiodg.exe to use 10-11% cpu constantly.  2.17.007 on a X-FI Titanium

okay guys: update!

audiodg.exe usage grows up, when a program try to use the microphone.

If you switch microphone to line-in the audiodg.exe gets 0% usage.

i think the new driver-implementation 'voice-morphing' and 'silence' from 2.17.7 causes the audiodg.exe cpu-usage.

2.17.6 (windows vista) still works well.

i can't use win7 (2.17.6 does not function)!  10% performanceloss because of a "high-end" soundcard...no comment
