I suspect the ctdvda2k.sys has to be from the last drivers that officially support dvd-audio or from the release the 0076 version of the player comes from.

There is something wrong on your end.

It works just fine here and got no reports about your issue.

It works fine on non-retail dvd-audio discs though

Download this driver and unpack it to \Windows\System32\Drivers, overwriting the existing one.

Let me know if it works.

That was an expected error, you overwrote a driver without installing it through Device Manager.

Could you elaborate more?

Did the DVD-Audio Player load and give the same error message trying to play the media?

Yes is the same need to upload driver to play disc but it still works for non retail discs.
The error doesn't appear in the log for non-retail disc this is the weird thing.

Re: SB Audigy series Vista Support Pack v2.15.0004B, now WaveRT enabled (02/14/2008)

Hi everyone,

Can someone please explain to me why I get this error message when I try to activate equaliser -

the audio device supported by this application is not detected.

I just don't get it. I downloaded the file, everything is there and working apart from equaliser, the one item I need the most.

HELP!!

Try disabling the User Account Control (UAC) if you already haven't, just be aware you have downgraded your security but it's no worse than XP's security so if you could secure your PC correctly in XP you can do the same in Vista and do away with the dumbed down crap Microsoft has to install to keep people from spreading viruses and trojans .... UAC - good for grandma, a huge annoyance and worthless for most Power Users

You may even notice a slight performance increase if you do disable the UAC, it's one less hook in memory

Re: SB Audigy series Vista Support Pack v2.15.0004EQ with Equalizer (02/19/2008)

[ Edited ]
Changed the driver version from v2.15.0004B to v2.15.0004EQ (with Equalizer).

Changelog:

- Windows speaker settings are now synchronized with Audio Console / Speaker Settings speaker configuration.

- Enabling CMSS in Audio Console or EAX Settings now properly activate effects in Creative APO; Stereo focus slider does not work, so Audio Center is still required for that.

- Audigy 2 ZS Notebook is now properly supported / detected by Setup

- Completely uninstall the previous release before installing this one.
